A few weeks ago, Presidents Cup and the PGA Tour announced the captains for the U.S. and International teams. These captains will represent their teams at The Royal Melbourne Golf Course in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Tiger Woods and Ernie Els will both be first-time captains, but are the most experienced when it comes to competition at the Presidents Cup. In 2003, these golfers competed in a dramatic sudden-death playoff during the Presidents Cup in South Africa, where the two teams shared the cup due to a tie.

A Recap of the 2017 Presidents Cup Golf Tournament

Despite a resilient effort until the very end by the International Team, the US Team won by a large margin at this year’s Presidents Cup, leading the tournament from the very beginning. From start to finish both teams came to Liberty National Golf Course each day, ready to play the best they could. Although they trailed the entire tournament, the International Team did not give up the fight until late Sunday afternoon when Daniel Berger clinched the final ½ point to secure the win for Team USA.

This year it is being brought to the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey. The course itself is dramatic yet traditional which takes in to account its cultural surroundings of the Statue of Liberty and the New York City Skyline.

What players experience as they walk on to the course is a testament to talent and patience, which is also what it takes to play the course. The International Club is located on the back 9 off the 16th green, where you will receive the great privilege of seeing the players final shots for the hole!
