Update on Qualification for the presidents Cup

The 2019 Tournament will feature a new qualification format. In previous editions of the tournament, the top 10 U.S. PGA Tour Members and top 10 international players who earned the most FedEx Cup points would qualify for the Presidents Cup team and then the captains would each pick two addtional players. However, the rules have now been altered. The top eight U.S. PGA Tour Members and international players will now qualify automatically, and then each captain will be able to choose four other players to join their team.
